Anthropic’s Valuation Doubles to $380 Billion With $30 Billion Investment

by admin477351

The artificial intelligence company Anthropic has raised $30 billion in new funding, pushing its valuation to $380 billion from the previous $183 billion in September. The substantial capital injection reflects continued investor enthusiasm for companies at the cutting edge of AI development.
GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, and Coatue Management led the funding round, which stands among the largest private fundraising transactions ever completed. The scale of the deal illustrates the enormous capital requirements in the competitive AI landscape.
Anthropic’s revenue performance has been exceptional, with the company achieving $14 billion in annualized revenue. The firm has maintained tenfold annual revenue growth for three consecutive years, demonstrating robust market demand.
A significant driver of recent growth has been Claude Code, the AI-powered coding assistant that became widely available in May 2025. Enterprise adoption of this product has exceeded expectations, validating strong market needs.
The company projects substantial operational improvements, forecasting that cash burn will decline to roughly one-third of revenue in 2026 and just 9% by 2027. Anthropic targets break-even status by 2028, potentially ahead of major competitors.
